Please i wanna see her now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?
i havent seen my neighbor nancy since christmas. i really miss her. i cry every night and i can never sleep. im so depressed. after christmas,she went to hawaii. she came back two weeks ago. i was calling her everyday and it seems like she can never do anything with me. she said her mom was dying. then the roads were bad. then she said she was having friends over. everytime i calling her, there's always something in the way so i can't see her. help me. i miss her dearly. what would you do if you were me. this is the longest i have ever gone with out seeing her. she isn't related. im 15 and she's 55. but she is a good friend. im scared to call her because i called her a lot. she never calls me. once in a while. if i call, there's going to be an excuse. i guess i gotta wait until april. please help. what should i do?

leave her alone!! maybe her mom is dying!! send her a card in the mail telling her that you are sorry about her mom. then call her one more time. ask her if she needs help around the house or something. then maybe you can make plans. dont you have friends your own age? the poor woman probably feels smothered or bothered by you.

I think you need to put a little distance between you. That doesn't mean to stop the friendship, but approach it a little differently. Try writing her a nice long letter. You can express many well thought out emotions and feelings you want to share. You can tell her how much she means to you, how you enjoy her company and how it would be nice to make some plans to get together in the near future. This way, she can sit and read the letter when she is not busy and without interruption. She may not even understand how much her friendship means to you. Then ask her to call you when she has time to talk. Then, just be patient. I'm sure if she's as good a friend as you see her to be, she will be in touch with you soon.

I say you should get a friend that is the same age as you. So you can hang out. and Yes it may seem hard for her but your really young to hang out with someone who is 55 when your only 15. 40 years of difference.

To me it sounds as if she may not want to be friends no longer.

Maybe she thinks you will move on,and find another friend. Myself I would move on,and find a friend closer to my age. I think you may want to join a youth group at church or something.

You may want to speak with your school counselor or a teacher.
