Dear "timothy" - God is the Bible? ergo, are you saying the Bible is God? Isn't it obvious by now that the Bible was written by man? Ergo, Are you saying man is the Bible, man is God, or what?

Assuming God dwells within each of us, so I would have to make the determination based upon my own understanding of whom God is. I assume God would say, how can the authors of the Bible or people that claims the Bible is God's word limited the knowledge of God to just one source? In other words, How can one enclose all water contained in the oceans in a tea cup?

What does God think about the Bible? A curious question that cannot be answered in any absolute way, or that is a trick question for which is no answer - God thinks and is, man thinks and will be what he was not. The 'Word' (Bible) was in the beginning and is the beginning. So it is not possible for a 'beginning' to know of its 'beginning'. Think of it like this: If you know the future, then how valuable is the past? And since the future is unable to know the past, then the present cannot know the future and since God is all three of these - the question becomes redundant. God is the Bible.

Some people that answer may have much to say, but
actually some say too much, making it hard to read. Please
keep answers shorter. God was the author of the Bible by
inspiration to those He chose to write down His words.
Since God is the manufacturer, He had the instructions of
His product written down (as to how we should follow His
directions). Wasn't He just so neat and clever? No one else
could ever do that in this Universe and have The written Word passed down for generations and generations and still be a
Number One Best Seller. Amen.

It's very clear what God said about the Bible..

2 Timothy 3:16
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

IF "god" actually existed then it'd be pretty p***ed of that people said he - "god" wrote the bible, an outdated book of myth and hearsay...

come on.. apparently the bible was "written" some 200 years AFTER this mythical jesus character was allegedly born.

The self acclaimed "holy" book called the bible is LAUGHABLE and POOR excuse for a "HOLY" book... oh and by the way - man wrote the bible... MAN :-) - why do people actually think it is the *word* of some imaginary god or another ? ... mad, mad, mad.

If anyone knew what God thought the world wouldn't be as it is today and don't you think for a minute if God wanted us to really know that he wanted us to worship him or Jesus he would be speaking to us as one instead of speaking to only one person.

He feels that it has some value for the young, developing egos, but he also knows that we are growing wise enough to handle more sophisticated explanations.

----also, he knows that he is the inspiration for it, no matter how distorted it seems. He is still able to find the truth within it.

God has no hands, he would have to be extremely angular to write that bible and expect us to fall for it. The bible is a metaphor....so is god.....thats why i only believe in god in the einsteinian sense.
