sure.
Pope John Paul thought so. Many religious folk are starting to think so.
People often wonder why all creationists dont adopt this idea and its because theyre not interested in facts. There is absolutely no evidence of beings beyond the physical and they believe. While having no factual background, and yet they still believe. So dont be suprised when they ignore the factual.
They also have trouble with the idea because they know almost nothing about evolution. Someone commented earlier showing that they believe evolution states that we came from monkeys.... hahaha... cute but sorry. There is not a single theory in evolution that suggests we came from monkeys, though it is probable that we came from a similiar ancestor.

The obvious answer is no because evolution doesn't believe in God.
God made bodies the same way that he made everything else, through the one law of reality and the consciousness brought about by the logical thought of a consubstantial existent that is inherently lacking in the property of God. From this the body was shaped through various chemical, physical, electromagnetic, and thermodynamic forces that cohered together based on logical necessity towards purpose which is called design. How did our personalities come about? Through experience and interaction with another and the concluding opinions and emotions brought about by our judgment of what is right and wrong, good and bad, loving and hating.

I think the fundamental differences are that some creationists don't differentiate between the word evolution and the theory.
I do believe that things "evolve" or adapt. However the theory of evolution as the origin of species is highly flawed.
You can say that creation is only based on faith. I can show you many "scientific" artifacts and "proof" it is not just by faith I believe. Evolution as posed in theory brakes its own scientific laws. The Big Bang theory brakes the law of thermodynamics (entropy).
God made us in his image, he is the creator. We did not just evolve into existence. Just as we create music or art, it comes from within, we CREATE it, therefore we are creators. We build it, therefore we are builders. Someone doesn't think of music and it evolves from nothing. Someone doesn't think of a building and it evolves into construction. The same with how God made us. We may have evolved into more wicked or more intelligent people through experiences and environment but we were created first. Just like Mozart didn't create the perfect piece of work he evolved into a great musician. There is a difference.
God Bless

Darwinism is not trying to disapprove god , no instead we are trying to say that evolution was god's ultimate plan to get us here. There is just way toooo much scientific evidence for evolution to be not true. Did you know there is only 2% difference between a monkeys and our DNA?. In bible it says that god made us in 6 days and rested on the 7th. but how do we know how long a day is to god? I mean it could be millions of year long.....

God made us and every living creature from the elements of the Earth. The Bible makes it plain. As for the exact technique, I would know that as much as you would all of the Government's best kept secrets.
In other words, because we cant explain how God made us (the process) does not negate one bit that he created us. Just because you don't know how to build a space shuttle, does not mean it doesn't exist nor more than it means its creators do not exist.
Evolution has nothing to do with it. Every creature while containting many of the same elements are all made seperate and complete. Mankind will never know God's technology, although he may in many points understand "some" of the results of the laws he created.

No, because evolution doesn't account for God.
God didn't say...Here, I'm going to make slime and in a billion years, I'll have intelligent folks.
I maybe a monkey's uncle but my cousin's not King Kong.

Good question. If you read Genesis in the bible it says God created everything in 7 days.God is omnipresent and time as we know it [a day] may actually be 1,000000 years to God. Hope this makes sense to u.

No. If that were so, it would say that God could not do it right, and had to keep trying until he got is close.

And Genesis sounds much like Native American stories of Creation...just different...
It all depends on what you believe..
