I am currently 15 yrs old and Im 5'8. at 14 I was like 5'4. My bro was 5'7 at 14 and now hes 16 and hes 6'0 ft. Our parents are shorter than both of us. and our grandparents also are shorter. I am like the second tallest. my dad is 5'7 my mom is 5'4 how the heck did my bro grow so tall? some kind of growing disorder? I want to grow like himbecause I think im average. we are asians and i heard that the average height for an asian is 5;8 but i want to grow taller.. please how did my bro end up like that?

It is all about gentics!! Sometimes guys tend to grow when they are in their late teens (hang in there!). Eating right and healthy plays a role in making sure that your body gets what it needs....in turn helps out (but don't count on it to make you grow 5 inches alone!

Another factor to consider is nutrition. One of the reasons Asian people tend to be shorter is improper nutrition, those that gro up in the US or other western countries tend to be taller than those who don't. They released a study in China saying that better nutrition was actually raising the average height even in China, I'm 6'1" and I see Chinese guys who are as tall as me (not the standard, but there is no shortage).
Genetics do play a big factor also, if all your glads work right, you don' thave chemical imbalances, blah blah blah, etc, etc. In the end, you really have to leave it up to luck.
When my brother and I were growing up he was always taller than me even though I was older, until I was 19-20 and finished growing I ended up an inch taller. Trange how it all works out. Don't let it bother you too much though.

Dont worry as your height isnt too bad anyway.My sisters and brother were all taller than me as well.Also they are all younger than me and i thought the oldest would be the tallest but it dont work that way.Just live with it as it's all to do with genetics anyway
