why do Lays chips sometimes smell like fart? The wavy ones?

They could be rancid. How long ago were they purchased. Sometimes the oil that the potatoes are deep fried in can get old. Then it does smell like that.

it's probably because you eat too much of them and so your farts smell like chips...

They should taste just fine. U were just sitting on them.
