NO.

Go to http://www.akc.org and tell which breeds you see listed there as having a teacup variety. You won't find any.

"Teacup" is just a name crappy breeders slap on small dogs to charge unsuspecting people such as yourself more money.

Teacup means a dog under 4 lbs and under 7 inches tall.

Teacup is a not an official term, it's just a casual term to describe a small dog.

No, I definitely do not think that pugs get that small. Also cross breeding a pug with another breed-- like a teacup poodle-- would not result in a teacup pug anyway because the pug mother is still too big. Plus the puppy wouldn't even be a pug, but a mixed breed.

(Always have the mother bigger than the father if you are trying to breed small dogs. Bigger mothers will have more pups and small mothers have difficulty carrying a bigger dog's puppies to term. Also the bigger puppies might kill the small mother.)

No there are not and I hope that no one tries to breed for this. A "teacup" is just the smallest pup in the litter and it used to be considered the runt which was a bad thing, but now people pay more! Go figure. I have a pug (and a Yorkie) and I would never endorse getting a super tiny dog. The small dogs have alot of health problems and they are very fragile. If you are holding them and they get frightened and jump out of your arms at standing height, you might as well head to the vet because they will have broken something. They may look adorable and seem like they'll stay puppies forever but it's really and truly not the best way to breed for any kind of dog. Good luck! (Oh, and if you're interested in a regular pug, do ALOT of checking into the breed before buying them. They have alot of health issues also, they shed like crazy, they are hard to potty train and they have breathing problems because of their short snout. BUT...they are just full of love and so ugly ya gotta love em!!)

"Teacup" anything is not really a breed (at least not recognized breed by the AKC or any other kennel clubs that I know of). Teacups are produced from breeding the smallest of any breed over years to continually produce smaller and smaller examples of that breed. As of now, I don't know of anyone that has done this to the teacup extreme with Pugs, but as the demand in the market for tiny little dogs increases, I'm sure one day it will happen.

"Teacup" is a term that is used to describe undersized dogs. A teacup is not a recognized breed in itself. There is no Teacup Yorkies or Pugs or Poodles etc. If someone is advertising teacup pugs they are trying to sell a exceptionally small pug. I would make sure that you have the dog/puppy throughly checked out by a vet. An exceptionally undersized dog could have many serious health problems.

I don't think so. But if you breed a teacup yorkie and a pug, your result might be one.

good luck
