The Dutch language is based on Latin as well as German. It is a guttural sound with a lot a g's and ch's which are unpronounceable by non Dutch speaking people. There are 26 letters in the alphabet. You pronounce the words as they are written. Like Amsterdam in English sounds like Emsterdem. In Dutch it is an a blah.
