Find a large air-tight tank with two valves. Empty the tank. Connect one valve to the pump. Connect the other valve to a hose whose other end is dipped into the water of a reservoir. Turn on the pump and time the time it takes the water to fill the tank. The CFM spec is the tank volume in cubic feet divided by the pump time in minutes.
