Im interested to know how much weight people have lost using atkins diet to compare different results. I have done atkins a few times whenever i hit 155 pounds or higher and i usually lose 7 to 10 pounds in 2 weeks. (cant stand to stay on it any longer) Just wondering what everyone elses results are.

the bible says all things in moderation. the atkins diet is not a good way to eat far too many fats and no carbs doesn't work for me eating wholesome foods and staying away from junk food is the best with plenty of exercise

i have lost more inches than weight, i do not think it is an unhealthy diet unless all you eat is bacon, or red meat. You eat salads, chicken, veggies. nuts. It can be a very healthy diet, you also began to add some carbs back into your diet after the induction is over. Inches matter more than the weight. The heavier you are the quicker you lose at first. It is easy to do, just find different things to eat instead of just salad and meat.

Mr.Atkins DIED OF A HEART ATTACK.

Just eat a regular balanced diet and get regular exercise. If you are still fat, you are either eating too much or not exercising enough. It's not rocket science!
