Jesus Christ was probably, part black and many other people. We all are. So, what is your point?

First, not all African-Americans are Christians because their 'slave owners converted' them. There are plently who just became Christians, and there were plenty of Christian abolitionists who helped them.
Second,I highly doubt that all Africans would all be Muslims today if salvery had not happened. There is a huge Christian population in Africa.
There is no point in using a crystal ball.Things happen, and speculating on what might have happened will not gewt us anywhere, and it's foolish to try.

Regardless, it is up to each individual soul to accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour. Just because the white preacher told the slave about the Bible doesn't mean that the individual soul had to convert. In order to convert the individual gives their own soul, key word (own soul) to the Lord. The white slaveowners could not own the slaves soul, that belongs to God. The slave had to make a conscious decision for this to occur. No beatings, flailings or anything such as that could cause a soul to convert. Also many Africans that were not slaves converted to Christianity. It doesn't matter who the good tidings came from. The Word is just that The Word.

First of all, I am Black because that's what God made me, and Christian because Jesus saved me. In all my travels I have never met a slave master. All the members of my family are Christian. How do you know what I would be if there had been no slavery in America? You would have to had walked with Jesus to know where He's been. You don't sound like a teacher to me either. I just happen to be a teacher, a Black Man, a Marine Veteran, and most importantly a Christian! Are you therefore anything other than ignorant and disgruntled? Find Jesus, before it's too late!

Someone needs to check their demographics and geography.
There is no assuarance that blacks from Western and Southern Africa would be Muslims.
Look at countries like Liberia, Nigeria, and Cote d'ivoire are majority Christian.

Did you hear that somewhere, and think: "Wow! That's so persuasive! Let me drop that on the Christians on YAHOO!Answers, and blow their minds!"
Well, consider my mind, blown!
(And since the Muslims in the Sudan are treating black Africans so well, I'm sure those Africans think they ought to be Muslims, too.)
