And why, if you do? Or why not, if you don't?

I do not "believe" in "the supernatural" any more than you "believe" in gravity.

its simply a matter of fact that I accept, because I have observed it.

"the supernatural" is not "supernatural" at all, but merely a different aspect of the natural world that is not as commonly understood or perceived.

>>"Absolutely not. For one, no one has been able to prove it. James Randi offers a million dollars to anyone who can prove it and no one ever has. "<<

and its specifically designed to make it impossible to fulfil. I personally suspect its designed fully knowing, and intending that the reality of such things cannot be proved within the provisions of the "contest".

Yes I do believe in ESP and the supernatural, it's a gift for me, since these things do work in me.

The ESP work in so many different ways for me, and it just comes to me as a warning, I sometimes know when something bad would happen before it does. One day I sense a dear coming across the road, I turned onto the next road, and here it came across, I just missed it, but I was ready for it.

I sometimes know when the phone will ring. I either feel or see the presences of ghost and spirits. Sometimes they wake me to communicate, or sometimes I am asleep... my spirit is so sensitive that I know where it is in the room and what it's doing as if I can see it, and I can feel it's thoughts. Other times when they come to me when I see them, I can feel what they are thinking. It just come to me with humans too, I long as I can see them, even from a far, I feel what they are thinking, usually their expressions tell me.

Sometimes I have dreams that come true, sometimes the very next day.

Years ago in the army, twice I avoided danger by going with the way I felt. It just comes to me like a warning.

I walked away from so many times where I should of perhaps been killed, two bad car crashes, drove off road four times at high speed, a drowning in long Island, a suicide, electrocution, bicycle incident with two cars, snowmobile incident over 100 mile hour.. fly over a ditch that I didn't know was there, guns either pointed or fired at me, fire... and others.... was it these spirts that I've seen all my life keeping me alive.... perhaps

Yeah there is ESP...have had instances of it over the years, other family members have as well. I think it's just an instinct that we don't understand how it works, only happens on occasion, and it's stronger in some people then in others.

I only define supernatural as 'ghosts' and whatnot.

The World of the Jinn

Throughout history man has always had a deep attraction for the supernatural and the unseen. The existence of a world parallel to our own has always fascinated people. This world is commonly referred to as the spirit world, and almost every set of people have some concept of one. With some people, these spirits are no more then the souls of dead people- or ghosts. With others, spirits are either the forces of good or the forces of evil - both battling against one another to gain influence over humanity. However, both of these explanations are more in tune with folk tales and fantasy. The true explanation of such a world comes from Islam. Like every other way, Islam also claims to explain this realm of the unseen. It is from this realm that Islam explains to us about the world of the Jinn. The Islamic explanation of the Jinn provides us with so many answers to modem day mysteries. Without the knowledge of this world, the Muslims would become like the non-Muslims and be running around looking for any old answer to come their way. So, who or what are the Jinn?

I do because it exist.
Some people say they are a good judge of character.
Some people say they are psychic.
We Christians call it the gift of discernment.

Shalom.

P.S. For the randi fan. You see his tricks here. All you have to do is to make it disappear through deductive reasoning. Basically randi calls a dog a cat and says.. "why did you try to bring me a cat? Go away" You are still standing there with a dog. He's the Benny Hinn of humanism.

Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.

While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.

Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.

I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.

I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.

I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.

Your brother don
