Vista is a brand new release of Microsoft Windows. You 'should have' the latest hardware (new powerful computer) to take advantage of all the features. Also, not all applications are compatible with Vista yet.

XP has been out for years, and is mostly rock solid. If you dont have a NEED for Vista, then stay with XP for a while until the bugs are worked out of Vista.

Well firstly, Windows Vista looks cooler, comes with more programs, is more compatible and is definately more user friendly. You can have a clock, search engines, reminders, a CPU meter, games, the temperature and a slideshow open all at once on the sidebar which is neatly tucked away to the side.
