I have never had that impression. Do some teens think being a Christian is cool? I've never ever heard of a teen thinking, "Hey, man, Christianity is SO FREAKING COOL I just have to be a Christian. Word, get my JC on!" Lol, I don't see it. Maybe there might be some teens or kids that really do think that, who knows. But mostly it seems as though some teens try to be cool for Christ, not necessarily that they see Christianity as cool. Unless maybe they think the Goth Christian scene is cool, or some other Christian genre. Then maybe I could imagine kids thinking Christianity is cool. But from my observations, it doesn't seem to be the norm. But you know, these are just my observations, I can't say definitivly "yes" or "no", because I don't want to judge. But maybe some, there's always the possibility.

Cool..um no. Maybe if all their friends were Christains then they would become one because of peer pressure, but from what I see it's really hard to be a young Christain these days. You're seen as stupid if you are, and are treated as if you can't think for yourself...So maybe a few have become Christians just because they thought it was cool, but far more have become Atheist because they were afraid of being made fun of..That's how I feel about it anyway. Take care :)

She does not sound like a helpful person era however the element to undergo in suggestions is that christians are not suitable, in simple terms forgiven. Does that propose we are in a position to flow around and do issues then ask forgiveness and be positive, NO, yet people do it. And its going to be them status till now God on judgement day. that's what provide Christianity a bad call. however the great element to me is that a Christian will not be somebody who acts like an angel each and all of the time, we decrease to rubble too. yet do not think of it somewhat is suitable here. She is making use of her christianity as an excuse to choose others and for my section she could pay for that interior the top.

I sure hope not. That would be a horrible and self-centered reason for accepting Jesus Christ. That aside, to be a Christina is to be a stranger and a pilgrim on this earth. We are to separate ourselves from this world and the things within it that might distract us from our relationship with God. To truly be a Christian is to be persecuted, shunned and rejected by a world full of sin, and to be OK with that!

Some hollow-skulled kids do whatever they do because it's """cool""". This in no way invalidates the experience.

Years ago, kids read Jack Kerouac and Albert Camus novels because it was """cool""". They actually showed good taste/instinct.

No. Kids and teenagers are christian because that is what their families are and at that age they usually do not have the ability to choose for themselves.

I'm a Christian and I came into this religion because I was positive that it was the right 1.

No one thinks Christian teenagers are "cool" except for their parents and pastor.

I remember high school kids ALWAYS making fun of the hardcore christian youth... the ones who thought the world was 6000 yrs old and who always invited you to their cute little church events and told you they'd "pray for you..."

I think a lot of them do it because of family and societal pressures, peer pressure.
If you grow up in a highly religious home, go to school, say in a highly Christian bible belt school where everyone is trying to "out Christian" everyone else, it will take precedence.
