Cats lack "self-recognition". This is only developed in humans after 5 years of age, and higher primates (around a similar age).
Not all cats believe the reflection is another cat - I have three and they totally ignore their reflection. Some will display (make themselves appear larger, hiss etc - this is a tactic that tries to evade fighting, while being threatening) as they believe the reflection is a foreign cat invading their territory.

cats do not like looking at themselves in the mirror cause they are scared that it is something or someone else they are looking at. they think that at times so they do not like looking at themselves.

Because they don't think that other cat in the mirror is them but another cat. Cats usually don't like other cats taking over their place(property-what they think is theirs-like you or their home).

Because they think that it is another cat that they are lookin at. They have no clue that it is themselves because they have never saw themselves.

I assume it's because they lack the intelligence to recognize their own reflection. In fact, very few mammals can recognize their reflection. Apes are the only ones, if I remember. However, I could be wrong.

From what I understand it has to do with the way their eyes see their own reflections. I don't think they can fully see their reflection or it is blurry or they can't focus on it.
