i would have to say neither because my dad hasn't really been there for me since the day i was born and my mom stays on the computer all night and then sleeps on day practically even though neither one of them take any of their time to hang out with me or even get to know the real me!!! i still love them for who they are!!! I'm not sure what you mean by 'get rid of " but theres no way i would give up on them now and you shouldnt either!!!! no need to choose im sure deep down you love them both equally!!! i know i still do!!!

I COULDN'T GET RID OF THEM. My Mom died a few years ago and it still leaves
a huge hole in my heart. Besides, what are you really asking? This makes no sense at all.

you don't have to choose...live with both of them...you will need both of them...they will always have a role in your life...little or small...but if fate is tearing you to choose between them...choose the one who never neglects you and you can be open with...someone you can communicate with without any hesitations...that's a true parent right there!

I'd rather have both, but because my dad is a drunk and a stupid druggy, I choose mom. I guess it depends on your relationship with them.
