5'8 is a great height. Not really short. Not really tall. Right in between. My boyfriend is 5'8 and I love it. I'm only 5'4 so 5'8 or so seems to be the perfect height for me.

Well, I'm 5'7" and 24, so I hope not.
To me it's kinda short, since most people seem to be taller. But it's not /really/ short. Just in relative terms. Realistically I think it's more like the lower end of average.

I'm a short woman. I don't want a guy that I can't reach! My husband and I are almost the the same height (he's a little taller). Its nice that way.

The average height in the U.S. is somewhere in the 5' 10" range...youre on the shorter end of average.

It is short but not by much...the avg height is 5'9 so you are one inch below avg.

I don't think so. My boyfriend is 5'8" which seems pretty tall to me because I am only 5'2". It works out pretty well.
