A good estimate is to take your body weight in pounds and divide that number in half. That gives you the number of ounces of water per day that you need to drink.
I weigh 120 pounds, but I usually drink about 2 bottles (42 ounces) a day though.

so the recommendation is 48 to 64 ounces a day.

Bottled water is usually 20 oz. 8 glasses would be 8x8 = 64oz.
I would say least 3 water bottles.

Doctors say 8oz is good. If you drink to much water though it is very harmful and it can kill you,

it good to drink water and you can drink that much or more if you want but it isnt mandatory that you do. 8oz or more
