Give me a break. A person could make a large list of all the groups that believe the world will end within the next 100 years. As Al Gore.

I know the world will end. But I don't know when. So it is hard for me to say it is within the next 100 years. It may and it may not be the next 100 years.

I saw a study not too long ago that showed that said 22 percent of Americans say they are CERTAIN that Jesus will come back (and the Rapture) within the next 50 years. Another 22 percent believe he -probably- will.
THAT'S F***ING 44% OF AMERICANS!!
And since the last study I saw showed that 83% of Americans are Christians, that implies that 1/2 of all American Christians believe they are certain, or there is a possibility, of Jesus coming back within the next 50 years.

Could happen, especially if Islam, more specifically radical Islam, and Secularism create immense persecution of Christian ideology in that time.
Remember there will be very few true Christians left in the world during the reign of the antichrist because only the few elect will be able to withstand the great tribulation.

I definitely think it'll happen even sooner than 100 years. Check out the book The Final Hour by Michael H. Brown.

I honestly don't think the world will end anytime soon. According to the Bible, I feel there are a lot of prophecies yet to be fulfilled. All I care about is that I'm saved and ready.

I cannot see into the future so I have no idea. It can end in 100 years or in two minutes from now. Who knows.

Hi.
Being a christian, I believe the Bible. So... :
(Psalm 37:29) 29 The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it.
(Matthew 5:5) “Happy are the mild-tempered ones, since they will inherit the earth.
So the planet will be here.... and so will those who learn about God and then follow His standards. BUT, those who sin against God..... will be gone. The system we see around us will end and soon.... the planet will stay.
(Zephaniah 1:14-18) 14 “The great day of Jehovah is near. It is near, and there is a hurrying [of it] very much. The sound of the day of Jehovah is bitter. There a mighty man is letting out a cry. 15 That day is a day of fury, a day of distress and of anguish, a day of storm and of desolation, a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick gloom, 16 a day of horn and of alarm signal, against the fortified cities and against the high corner towers. 17 And I will cause distress to mankind, and they will certainly walk like blind men; because it is against Jehovah that they have sinned. And their blood will actually be poured out like dust, and their bowels like the dung. 18 Neither their silver nor their gold will be able to deliver them in the day of Jehovah’s fury; but by the fire of his zeal the whole earth will be devoured, because he will make an extermination, indeed a terrible one, of all the inhabitants of the earth.”
