sticks his head straight out the window?

That is so true. I never thought of it that way before, but your
so right. I have to blow in my dogs face when she won't leave
me alone, and as soon as we get in the car they want to stick
their head out the window. I often wondered how they can take
the air blowing in their face when I'm driving. It's so silly.

Blowing in dogs face is passing negative message- depend from situation "I don't want you here", "I'm boss", they can obviously get information, what you eat, and get jealous as well... Sticking out a head it's discovering all range of smells, helping out to memorise a way. My ones are not allowed putting their heads in windows. Both literally glued to dashboards grills...plus living marks in shape of nose on glass.

Did you ever notice that this question is asked over and over and over again?

Also its not good for the dog to let it stick its head out the window. They can get all sorts debris in their eyes that cause cuts to eye or infections.

Yes this is odd but all dogs do it.

You shouldn't let them put their heads out of car windows as at the speed a car moved dust and debris can hurt their eyes.

Also they may decide to jump out and be hurt or killed.

When you blow in his face its carbon dioxide not the fresh air with oxygen he gets when he sticks his head out the window. Who says dogs are dumb?

Ha! Ha! I noticed! When I want to get rid of my pesky dog, I blow my freshly brushed teeth breath in her face. She doesn't stick around for very long. Her breath is like...ewwwww garbage du jour. Ha! Ha!
