I find that people, males and females alike seem to avoid me. I find that they have a difficult time looking me in the eye when I speak to them and their body language indicates that they appear very uncomfortable. But usually if they get to know me better everything is normal. What am I doing to make these people feel uncomfortable around me?When I look them in the eye, could l possibly look angry.

No, absolutely not!!! If someone doesn't look at you directly, it just means that they haven't figured you out completely yet and they do not know how to act accordingly. Once they got to know you, they were much more open like you said. It's probably that you may be too serious in your body language. It's nothing too bad to be serious. Just don't let people think you're a stiff when you're not. but, don't try too hard to be easy going either if you're not comfortable with it. You just might make an *** of yourself, or worst, say something wrong!!!!!!!!!!

It's more than likely your personality, not your looks that is causing people to be uncomfortable.

You may be coming off aggresive and standoffish just ask the people you get along with their first impression that will give you insight.
