Okay. Here's the thing. My legs have little bumps on them. Like... goosebumps sort of, but reddish. They're mostly on my theighs but they venture onto my theighs. How do I fix them?

I have this too, but mostly on the backs of my arms. I also have it to some extent on my calves. The doctor told me that it is from extremely dry skin and buildup. The best way to get rid of this is to exfoliate, use a "scrubby" in the shower or a washcloth, and really get rough with that area. Use an exfoliating body scrub. And REALLY scrub with the towel, that helps to exfoliate the dead skin build up too.
You want to apply a LOT of lotion, and OFTEN. I sell Avon, and I use the "Moisture Therapy Skin Bump Minimizer" which is made especially for this condition. I haven't had it long enough to see any effects (I've only used it one time). If you want to try that, go to my website: www.avonbymarcie.com
But any lotion WITH AHA (Alpha-Hydroxy Acid) will help with this, you just have to be really religious about doing it every single day and you should notice some results within about a month.

it's difficult to choose among all the informative answers you've got so far!
i'd only like to add some more, based on personal experience advice.
if you tend to shave you legs, beware that it is not the best hair removal method for this type of sensitive skin;shaving can really mess up things, cause growing hairs become harder and infections more common.also the razor could cut through some bumps of the already irritated skin and worsen its condition.try the cold wax hair removal,or epilate it.
another reason for having those bumps is improperly growing hairs;not straightup an out, but inside the skin.in this case using exfoliants, body scrubs and regular rubbing with appropriate towel or sponge will help a lot.it will both make your skin smoother and stimulate hairs growing the right direction.
all those skin problems might origin from certain emotional disballance too.so relax and take bath with suiatable aromatherapic oils when possible(santal, lavander, menthol, callendula will work well).
and i was to forget: always apply some disinfecting lotion or powder after you've done any hair removal!remember that your skin is oversensitive and all those open pores could easily get infected if not treated the right way.then,of course, feel free to use creams, lotions and etc.of your favorite cosmetics.
it is a common skin problem and i wish you lot of success with overcoming it for good!

I think i know what you are talking about. If it's what I'm thinking of, I have the same thing except its on my arms, legs, thighs, and my backside. is it kinda like sandpaper?? if it is, then the best thing to do for it is to put lotion on day and night, and especially after a shower. it doesn't get rid of it, but it will minimize the look and redness a bit. I can't remember the name of it, but it's a skin disorder where your skin doesn't shed normally, so instead of shedding, it builds up in the pores and creates a sort of pimple like bump on the skin. hope this helps!!

You really need to read "Banish My Bumps" by Angela Steinberg (also available in electronic format here: http://www.banishbumps.com ). It's about how to permanently cure your Keratosis Pilaris naturally. I was able to clear my skin in only 7 days after reading this.

Stop paying paying each month good money on creams. This is exactly what the pharmaceutical industry wants you to do! They want to milk money from you each month.

This could be Keratosis Pilaris. I have it too.

it's not curable but can be treated with creams and lotions that will calm the innflamation and redness and reduce the bumps.

Are they from shaving? If so, try to lather up well and use a sharp razor. Don't press down while shaving. Or you could use Nair. Hope this helps.
