Why are you so concerned with losing the weight so fast? Do you want to do it fast, or do you want to do it right? Because you can't do it both ways. Really, you can lose 10 pounds easily in just a little more than a month, and do it healthy, too! A month isn't that long, is it? Just eat between 1200-1500 calories a day (Never go below 1200 calories. It will slow your metabolism down and make it harder to lose weight) and exercise. Maybe start walking or running a couple miles a day.

Throwing up or not eating anything...10 pounds will only come off in a week if you're REALLY overweight because its all water fat. If you are just a little overweight, it will be harder to lose the pounds. Exercise, mainly cardio. Drink slim shakes and eat nutrigrain bars. You'll be losing weight the healthy way. Def. stay away from pizza, fast food, chocolate and anything with lots of high fructose corn syrup and lots of calories.

Unless you become anorexic im sad to say that it is impossible to lose 10 pounds in 10 weeks and believe me if there was a way besides anorexia which will all come back if you "cheat" and don't eat anything[ once you eat again it will all come back] and it rots your teeth becuase of the acid and makes u have bags under your eyes then i would be all over it. The only way is to work for it because THERE IS NO QUICK FIX.
Well i hope i helped and good luck!

Okay, I'll answer your question first:
1)Stop eating and excercise intensely. (time consumed: about a week, maybe)
2) Dehydrate yourself. Do not drink any water, and you can lose up to 10 pounds (time consumed: a day or two)
3) Get lipo-suction (time consumed: idk, i guess a few hours)
4) Cut off a limb. (time consumed: instantaneous)
So now that I've answered your question (which include pretty much every typical way to "lose weight fast"), I'll describe what the catch is with each respective method:
1) This is what some might consider "diet and excercise", but it really isn't. A diet consisting of little or no eating and excercising will cause you to lose weight in fat, but you'll also lose muscle weight, as well as other important structural nutrients that make up your body. This is because the excercise would make your body weaker (which is what it is suppsed to do, and then you're supposed to become stronger when you rest to recover), but without food, your body would have nothing to use for building up the destroyed tissue, so it would stay destroyed (your muscle and other important tissue, i mean). You would eventually just get weaker and weaker with every workout. And simply not eating while not excercising would not help you lose 10 pounds in a week either. Though you would lose weight, this weight would not just be fat; it would also be muscle.
2) The weight will only be in water, so you won't really look much better. Maybe a little thinner, but from lost water, and that water is EXTREMELY crucial to life. The body can go a few weeks without food, but only a few days without water. You would die a horrible, painful, dry death (after a while if you didn't drink water eventually, that is).
3) This is just a lazy method that I personally despise unless it is absolutely necessary to save a person's life, and even then the deplorable fact that the person let themselves get to such a state remains. The down side to doing this is, among other things, that you will have a lot of jiggly, loose skin. Trust me, you do NOT want this. It looks and feels disgusting. Also, lipo-suction will end up costing you money and is really not for only a 10-pound weight loss. It should only be used as a last resort for, say, a 200-300 pound overweight person, or something of the like.
4) I can't find anything wrong with this option. By all means, go for it! Cut off TWO limbs, while you're at it! (yeah.. it's pretty obvious about this one)
So basically, you see what's wrong with all of these options. Now to give you some advice for that weight:
You can lose it if you just go through the right steps. It's only ten pounds, and you don't need to worry about it. Do the following, if you want to lose the weight (the weight loss will be gradual, but steady, if you keep it up. Do not expect more than 1 or 2 pounds per week though):
Run a lot: more specifically, find the time to run at least 20-30 minutes a day. find someone to run with to make it less boring. this has to be non-stop running/jogging though
Lift weights: I know that you might be concerned that you could get too muscular; a lot girls think this. But don't worry, you won't become "The Terminator" by weight lifting regularly. I mean, look at all those guys who work out tirelessly in the gym in hopes of becoming like that! They don't accomplish their goal usually unless they put many years of intense workouts into it, so there is no way you'll look man-buff just by lifting regularly, but you will become stronger, which means you'll gain muscle, and every pound of muscle burns an extra 100 calories per day. plus, it is possible for the body to gain up to 2-3 lbs of muscle per week! So weight lifting will really help you (and again, no you will not become manly-looking or anything, even if you tried for years *unless you take steroids or something*)
Cut down on the junk food: I'm not saying to never eat it ever again, but you really shouldn't be eating anymore than a handful of this stuff a day, preferable none at all. Since you don't want to go through your whole life without eating it (the thought is overwhelming), just try your best to cut down on this stuff. A good alternative is most breakfast cereals. (well, that's what I eat a lot of... a LOT of)
Keep it up: Try to do the above things, but at the point that you think you can keep up even after you lose the 10 pounds. It's pretty pointless to lose 10 pounds just to get overconfident and just gain 20 new pounds just to have to lose it again
Finally, just try your best. I know it can be hard to feel fat, but I understand what it's all like. I've been overweight-obese-overweight most of my life. In fact, just two years ago I was more than 20 pounds overweight. Now I'm 10 pounds under being overweight (which i think is a pretty confortable spot), but it took a lot of hard work. No, it didn't take me two years to lose the weight (it did to gain the muscle i have though), but it took a while (around 3 months). Just keep at it. And good luck

10 pounds in one weeek is overdoing it. The thing is, watch your diet. Try switching to olive oil. Change your diet. At most cut 4/5 of your calories. Any more is suicide. It can get you more pounds unless you totally pull a NIcole Richie. NO guy likes an anorexic pot-smoker who drives the wrong way on the freeway.

I'll tell you that it's completely possible to drop 10 pounds in a week. But, it'll seriously damage your health, and the weight will all come back, most likely just as quickly as it dropped.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

you can't loose 10 lbs of body mass in one week by diet and excersize. You might lose 10 lbs in one week, but it's mostly going to be water weight. your body can only lose about 2 or 3 pounds a week of pure body mass. so if you do lose 10 lbs in one week, your probably gonna gain most of it back soon

The quicker you lose, the quicker you gain. Slow and steady will win the race.
Start excerising and cut back a bit on food while adding fruits/veg. That first week you could lose up 5lbs, and then it should go to about 2-1lbs a week.
