I want to get my double nostril pierced very badly, but I "can't" until June. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do a spontaneous thing and do it before then, so how could I possibly hide it? I had my nose pierced before, and taking it in and out for a retainer made it infected, so I want any suggestions besides retainers.

Thanks!

if you can't wait until june, then i would think you probably aren't patient or mature enough to heal two peircings at the same time. anything on your face will be difficult, if not impossible, to hide. furthermore, something isn't "spontaneous" if you are already planning how to hide it.

ok, quit caking makeup throughout it. you will get that nasty goop all interior the hollow after which you will finally end up with a raging an infection which you should no longer cover from a blind individual. you won't be able to cover a seen facial piercing. in actuality, the only facial piercing it fairly is quite plausible to cover is a tongue piercing, or perhaps then quicker or later somebody will take notice of it. Take the nostril stud out. i'm almost a hundred% specific you probably did it your self or had a chum do it, meaning your probabilities of it getting contaminated are somewhat intense first of all. Now you have long previous and blobbed makeup throughout it. you won't be able to cover the piercing, no longer in spite of sparkling rings. that's nonetheless quite significant.

Depending on the guage of the nose-ring, you could possibly buy a really really small clear rubber plug for it. Ask your piercing studio if they sell anything like that before you get it done.
Fishing line does work, but it's really hard to keep it tied together.
But I must say, If I were you, I would really consider waiting until June though. If you have to keep messing with it when it's trying to heal, it's not going to heal very well. That could lead to a large red infected bump on your nose, and that would be painful and look really bad.

Well I hope that you won't take it in and out before your 6-8 weeks are up (healing time). I've seen people get pierced with a regular stud covered in dried nude (or as close to your face color) nail polish, and the clear studs. But both are noticeable. Sorry for the disappointment, but I really think there isn't a way to hide your nose :)

I have my nose pierced, but at my last job I was not allowed to wear the nose ring. I bought fish line, and cut off a 1/4" or smaller and stuck it in, so the hole would not close. During the weekends I would put in my nose ring. However, with the fish line in it you do see a little black dot where the hole is, so it doesn't totally hide it.

if a retainer isn't an option, the only other thing would be a bandaid but then people would wonder why and you'd have to come up with some sort of story there.

not getting your whatever-the-hell-a double nostril is pierced is about the only way to effectivley hide a facial peircing without a retainer.

where in fact is the double nostril?
did you mean septum?

eitherway, i would wait. doing something stupid will only make you regret the piercing.
