It's a wooden legged man, because his leg makes him part tree, he hates the termite because it will eat at his leg, his tracks don't match because the foot and wooden leg, and his wooden leg comes off. You can disguise a wooden leg, so it wouldn't be too uncommon to see a person with a wooden leg.
