Yeah... my and my girlfriend are going to have our 1 year anniversary on April 9th. And we are both goth. The thing is.... I don't know what to get her... and worce of all.... I only have $5 to my name..... so someone PLEASE HELP ME! What should I get her for our first year? I really, really care about her and I don't want to mess this up.

It's going to be tough with only $5 good thing you have time to save a little. Maybe you can like make a song for her or something that doesn't require money but is heartfelt! Like a poem. Do you draw? or paint? You might have to get creative since your budget is limited!

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it more of a homemade feeling.

no prob, get something that means a lot thats under 5$, she shouldn't care about expensive things, its the thought but.. make the thought count, get something homemade thats really thoughtfull and says you love her, i'd say get a car but thats a waaay over your 5$
