long haired men....Whats the problem?

Im a long haired man and proud of it. I'm sick and tired of ppl telling me it's a sin and that i need to cut it. and that its not natural. Why is it such a problem for men to have long hair? where is it written that long hair is wrong?

That is so stupid! I find men with long hair quite sexy and attractive. It is not a sin, and it is natural it's your own hair isn't it? People are stupid and have what their talking about just ignore them.

America is in a Conservative Mood and Conservatives feel safer when men look like army recruits or convicts; there is also the lice.factor. Much of the bias against long hair in America goes back to class consciousness the theory being that wealthy people can get barbered regularly while poorer folks don't -- -- -- at the time of The American Revolution a shave & a hair cut were exspesive -- -- then during the Civil War a populist wave swept America and beards & long hair were o-k, then closing in on the turn of the 20th Century matters changed again.

I agree it is anoying but support your opinion; long hair is cool and should be encouraged -- - but with America sliding deeper into Conservative territory head shaving will continue to be preffered by a majority.

(PS no matter how long your hair is, it is best to get it trimmed regularly to eliminate split ends, etc and actually your hair will grow more with frequent care - -- )

A SIN? what a load of old cock! Personally i'm a man into men and I have a tonne of longhair down my back. And at 40 it still looks great. I think men with longhair are generally - more into the rock thing - and also not afraid to stand out in a crowd. I can remember walking into a gay bar here years ago and i can guarantee that half the place stopped and stared when i got in - as they all had no hair - thank all the gods i dont look like the 'norm' str8 gay or whatever... long ahir on men is cool - different and sometimes VERY HOT!!

My fiance recently cut his hair (his choice) which was down his back. He kept it clean, well styled, and it looked wonderful... but I guess at 32 he felt that mid-life crisis thing... had a couple of tequilas and chopped it all off... now he's having a fit because it is growing so slowly and he wants it long again... sigh...

I say... Don't lose sleep (or hair) over it. If long hair is your preference, then so be it.

it is your decision, do you decide directly to mixture in with society or do no longer care? i in my view think of it seems somewhat weird and wonderful and clearly that's why you asked. you at the instant are not hurting anybody or bothering them which comprise your hair so provide them the seems back, they are being impolite even nevertheless in my view i do in contrast to those with somewhat short hair or long hair as a common rule, hair is alluring and could compliment something of your physique, no longer draw interest to or get rid of in my public grooming critiques.

In all religious pictures it despicts "Jesus" as having long hair. each to its own....I always say. Don't cut your hair just because people you know want you too. Be yourself...do what makes you comfortable. There is no problem with men having long hair. Just keep it clean.....

My husband and I know of more than one man who cut his hair because they were tired of being whistled at by other guys--you're walking down the street, there's a car coming up from behind you, and this car is full of guys who, when they see someone with long hair, assume it's a girl.

Most of my youth was spent around long hair guys . .
And as long as it is clean with some grooming (even girls look bad in ungroomed long hair) . . . long hair is good.

I love long hair for man, so don't mind other people. This is not their business it's your. For as long as your hair is clean and well groomed, I can careless what people say, if, I were you. Tell them Jesus Christ have long haired too. Cheers.
