Hello ProudToBeAlbanian,

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. You cannot put the Mac OS X onto your Windows HP computer and use that. It doesn't work that way. Apple is a computer hardware manufacturer, so if you want to run the Mac OS X, you need to buy Macintosh computers to run it on. It won't run on non-Macintosh hardware.

You say you have an Apple Notebook, but the Mac OS X came with several CD-ROM disks, not just one. You seem to like the Mac OS X (I can't blame you either). If you have a newer Intel-based Macintosh like the MacBook or MacBook Pro, then you can download a program from the Apple web site called Boot Camp. This program allows you to boot into Windows and your can load your Windows XP on your Mac.

There's also a program called Parallels that allows you to have Windows work in a window inside of the Mac OS and easily move files back and forth between the two OSs.

If you have an older Macintosh iBook, or PowerBook that uses the PowerPC processor, then you'll have to go to Mactopia and buy Virtual PC for Mac from Microsoft.

As far as going the other way around and running Mac OS on your HP, I'm sorry but you can't do that at this time. Best of luck using the Mac that you do have.

Sorry, Mac OS only runs on Mac hardware. You can try PearPC, which is a virtual Mac machine that runs within Windows, but emulators are usually pretty slow and buggy. I tried it once and gave up in frustration. Even if you got it installed, since the Mac OS is designed to run only on Macs and they control the configuration, you'd have tons of driver issues with your non-Mac hardware.

If you want the Mac OS, you have to buy a Mac.

You can't run Mac OS natively on a Windows PC. Though there are emulators that will allow you to run the MacOS.

Here's a couple URLs, just google if you need alternative solutions.

I should point out that it will run very slow in emulation mode.

Alternately if you just want the GUI to look like the MacOS there are apps that will allow you to do that.

You can't Apple OSX doesn't run on pc's

By the way in case you didn't read the Apple License agreement carefully your not allowed to run OS X on pcs natively and your not allowed to run it on virtual software like parallels or vmware.

I don't know what the point is I mean if someone wants a nice
BSD desktop they can use pcbsd without going through the
hassle and getting in trouble with Apple.

Hi there.
It would have to be a apple notebook with a intel processor. If its not, you won't be able to install mac os x on your pc. If it is a intel processor. It is very complicated installing mac os x on your hp computer.
