i need to know how many volts are in a lemon but i dont know what to set the multimeter to can you help.

set it to direct current (dc) voltage... the "V" with a straight line near it and/or a chopped straight line... the "V" with a wavy line is for alternating current (ac)

set it to 200 Volt DC and turn it down step by step if you get no display.
if you are on the lowest setting and still have no display try to use electrodes of diffenrent material in the lemon.

and don't confuse the lemon with your mains supply, thats AC and 120 Volts
