In Summer 1985 when I was five years old, my family and I went on vacation to Mexico and I remember that a popular song from that time was Lucerito's "Fuego Y Ternura". I recently found the video on Youtube and i'm curious to know what that song title means or what it refers to? Can anyone help?

Lucero is a semi-poetic word for star, literally means "that what gives light". Lucerito is the diminutive form.

The approximate translation of the song would be "Fire and tenderness".
It is a love song and the lyrics refer "Fire" as the passion, the intensity of the love and "Tenderness" to, of course, the tenderness toward the loved one.

Fire and Tenderness is a direct translation.
