Depends on the car.
Some cars you can get a coat hanger in and pull up the lock.
Some cars can be opened with a slim jim.
All cars can be opened by a locksmith with proper tools. ;-)

take a screwdriver and wedge it between the window glass and the top of the window channel, if you pry hard enough the window should shatter. Now just simply stick your arm through whats left of the window and pull out your keys. Next drive to Wal-mart and pick up some clear plastic and duct tape. I would stay away from the black plastic as it could reduce visibility. Tape the plastic to the door and your good to go! No more worries about locking your keys in your car. If you do just simply remove duct tape get your keys and re-apply new tape.

Call the police department & see if they have the toool to unlock your car door. They do it in some cases & won't charge you for it. I had a website where it showed how to unlock a vehicle door by burning a hole in the middle of a tennis ball, but don't go too deep. Then you take the tennis ball & hold the ball (hole side) against the lock, & push real hard. You may have to repeat it, but in the video, the woman only pushed hard once, & it popped the door lock up. I can't find the website link. I must have deleted it.

A locksmith is your best bet. Are you a member of the AAA Auto Club? They'll pay for the first $100 of the locksmith.
