YOU SHOULD NOT DO ANYTHING. The one thing you should do is abdominal exercises such as crunches, these come in many forms. Look at the men's health website for details. Don't over-exercise abs, they don't take much exercise and require a significant rest period. You have to remember you use your abs all day more often than you think, hence over-exercising them will not benefit you, only cause you pain.
Don't bother with pills, drugs don't work. Good luck

Hey! Crunches! I do a bit of cardio before i do my crunches, so then it will get my heart goin and i will be able to go on for longer.
There are loads of different kinds of crunches.. try and vary in them. Exercise Balls are good! Try and contract your abs for a couple of seconds whilst you are at the top of your crunch.
You can notice results in 5/6 weeks. hope this helps :)

I am interested too. But I think your question "how long will it take" is not good, because in time, if you don't continue the sporting activities you done in order to get that abs, if you don't continue it, then you will go back from where you started...
So you need to change your whole lifestyle, to do more sports.

Plus, pilates is relaxing and frustrating :) you may desire to go searching your section and spot if any of the gyms furnish pilates once you have a club (many gyms do) this variety you would be unable to procrastinate or something for the reason which you would be going to training for it.

crunches and sit ups are working pretty well for me, though I can't give an estimate of how long it will take. It depends on how long you do the exercises and how intense they are, consult a trainer or gym instructor so that you professional advise with added tips on food and so on, good luck

You actually have to have a good diet in order to see your abs. So if you are working out......and you dont have to actually work the abs directly...you can do a full body workout and that works your core.
