....yeah
also, i have a room, but it has no lock, as we live in an extremely old, victorian style home. one with old fashion keyholes. we dont have the keys to them tho...
we also have a tiny home, and with my mothers obsessions and collectables/memories, there is barely enough room for one to do sit ups
might i also add that we have 2 dogs that hate going down the road (theyre afraid of cars), that also like to lay across/ jump on my stomach when i try to do sit ups...

First of all.. what are your eating habits like? Reducing things such as meat, pasta, bread, ect and increasing vegitables and fruit can make a huge difference. Also if you a)skip meals or b)eat a couple huge meals a day, try eating 5 smaller meals... absolutely including breakfast! People who skip breakfast are something like 40% more likely to be overweight. A great rule of thumb is to quarter your plate. One quarter protein (meat, fish, eggs.. ect), one quarter carbs (potatos, corn, bread, ect) and then two quarters vegetables or fruit (salad, stemmed veggies, whatever you like). So before worrying about exercise, make sure you are eating healty well balanced meals.
Now the fun part... free things that are great exercise. Is it possible to close the door so your siblings can't get in? Doing crunches, push ups or just running on the spot is enough to tone and burn some calories, there are also loads of free exercise plans available online.. they tell you want to do and how to do it. If working out at home isn't possible at all, why not go for brisk walks or jogs outside? Even jogging home after school instead of the bus is an easy way to burn a few cals. (Although if you live quite far from highschool, this could be tough.) One thing friends of mine used to do is use tins of soup as weights when working out. Works just as well and costs nothing.
I don't know how keen you are to sports, but what about joining the b-ball team, soccer or any game you like. It's a work out plus a fun way to get out of the house. I became a die-hard volley-ball player and made some of my best friends in highschool this way.. plus lost weight in the process.
Anyways girl, I hope this helps. If exercise is really tough to get at, try to keep your caloric intake between 1500-2000 and even rare and moderate exercise is sufficient. Best of luck!

hmm well it really depends on ur will powerr tbh
when u wake up just go out in the moring for a walk around ur hood
have ur brekfast (dnt skip it)
go to scholl play sports if u can during break time etc
when u come home just have a couple of banna etc
during evening go for a walk
have ur dinner
go to sleep
do that for a week then next week try jogging instead of walking and every other week try to go further etc.
1 great tip is when u feel ur hungry sometimes u are actualy just thristy so just drink some water and wait for 5 min before u eat anything (that is if u still feel hungry lol )

First of all, you're using an anonymous message board to give you advice that only a doctor should give you. Any kind of ailment that affects your breathing is nothing to be taken lightly. If you are really concerned with your weight for health reasons, a short trip to your doctor to get his/her advice is the best thing you could do for yourself.
The diet and fitness industry is so new that you will find an infinite number of different opinions, especially on something like this where people can post whatever they want without having to show credentials. Go to your doctor.

"I SO FLY" is a very rude, small-minded boy... as such, should be ignored... thankfully not all guys are dense, pea-brains like that...
for weight lose...
as long as you are eating healthy and not over-eating... and are exercising
then you are doing all you should... your body grows until 20-24 yrs and you should not do anything extreme even after that... but could stunt your own growth and cause serious health problems if done before....
cut down (but not out) the carbs.... breads, pastas...
increase (not too much) proteins....
watch the milk intake if you have a lot.... and reach for celery, carrots etc. instead of chips, crackers, candy.... soda....
eight to twelve glasses of water daily.... maybe find a reason or way to break away to walk.. fast paced..... if you can... a pet is a good reason to... take a watch and after the slower walk for it... time out a faster paced walk start slow five to ten minutes and work up to thirty or more.... great exercise....
if there are pounds or whatever that need melting? they will... the toning can be done using those same siblings.... if they can be lifted.. you can turn it into a game... after they run, dance along side you.... lift them one at a time doing arm curls... or put them on your legs and let them "fly" not letting go of course... include them... don't fight them... little brothers and sisters tune right into what bugs us and keep it up the more it frustrates, annoys and makes you mad.. the more they do it... it is their job.. to teach us patience and negoiating skills...
also remember right before bedtime is the worst time to work out... and after what is it? six-thirty or seven pm our metabolism slows so anything eaten after that will go to the hips....
hope this helps
remember to ignore the small minded ones.... unfortunately there are more of them out there than the good ones.. and you will run into them often..... you will know them because they always have big mouths... sometimes drool slightly... and "DUH" comes out more often than real words.... no.. Homer Simpson is not one.. he is just dumb.... he is gentle and kind though.. well sometimes? ;>
also, small-minded almost always equals small everything! sad, but true.... lol... ha!

if you have younger siblings that try to get involoved try to use that to your advantage, if you have room a back yard or where ever get them to play a game of soccer with you-it's the cheapest sport all you need is a ball - some rocks will work as net-markers. or if your stuck inside playing hide and seak, or simon says is good. simon says march in place- simon says do jumping jacks - sit ups. You can do a variety of active things and make it fun for them and do it yourself at the same time. also playing statue- where you play music and dance then pause it and everybody has to stay still. dancing is a great form of cardio and younger kids love dancing and acting foolish.

Would they bother you if you put on music that they like and danced vigorously. Also be careful of what you eat. Try not to eat junk food. Drink lots of water instead of soda. Do you have a dog you can take for a run everyday? Play vigorous games with your siblings outside - like football and tag.

the only diet that works every time is EATING HEALTHY(ie: breakfast= healthy cereal; lunch= salad or soup; dinner= fist-sized portion of meat and veggies and bread or pasta) and EXERCIZING. Push ups, sit ups, jogging in place, crunches, jumping jacks, dancing (alot, like for periods of 20 min 3x a day). It takes awhile, but you will keep the weight off.

To begin with look at your diet... Do you drink soda? Eat ice cream? Potatoe chips? fried food? Start by eating healthy like fruit and veggies, yogurt, grilled chicken etc. Why don't you wake up at 6 am and go running for at least 30 mins? I'm sure your siblings are still in bed by then ;)

dancing is a great form of exercise. turn on the tunes. You can do jumping jaxs, sit ups, jog in place. You can use a chair to exersice. Make it a game of tag with the kids.

You should 'get more exercise' and 'eat a bit less' ... and if you 'can't really get out of the house' at your age, then you should at least have a 'totally private space' that you can go to for your 'exercise' and for your own 'mental health' ... even if it's just a 'corner' of your attic or basement, where your 'siblings' can't 'climb all over you.'
