okay so me and my ex broke up 2 months ago and we are still best friends. he tells me that he still loves me even if he has a new gf. i fall for it everytime, all my friends says that he is just lying to me...but i still think it is real. and he tells me all the time that he has always told me the truth and i believe him...but all my friends say that i should totally drop him as a friend because they don't like him. what should i do? should i drop him as a friend? should i believe him when he tells me stuff? i am so confused!

okay ...he wants me to be best friends with his new gf and like i am nice to her but like i dont' want to be good friends with her because yeah i still have feelings for my ex. and another things there was a rumor going around that him and i make out when we are bored. (which sadly is kinda true and like we decided to stop because he did have a gf and like i feel terrible about that.) but anyway she found out and then he totally lied to her and told her that it was a long time ago when it was actually just a little bit before. i just don't know if i should tell her all this? or just let him tell her? ahh i hate this!

There's a reason he is your ex. Think about it.

1. You can do what YOU want to do. Your friends can only lead you up to a certain point until you'll have to make your own choice
2. He has a GF and he is telling you that he loves you? So he does this to his new GF now, did he do this to you behind your back when you were going out with him? He is doing it to someone else right now. Would you like it if your BF went around to other women saying he loves them?
3. I would not drop him as a friend, because I guess you can control what happens between you two. Its not like you dont have the power to say no to anything you dont approve of.
4. I wouldnt get into anything more than just friends... because that is respectful to you and him.. and his new gf. I personaly would avoid the negativity when it comes to situations like these. :-)

You are not confused at all.
Truth is, you know the truth but don't want to admit it. Your self esteem is so low that you allow yourself to be manipulated.
If you are like one of my friends, you can be strung around for years, (even rejecting other guys), end up alone and miserable.
What I'm saying girl is you don't need advice at all. You need to do what you know is right and have the patience to suffer a small bit of misery for a short time and move on.
Forget about all this "love" stuff too. You are messing with your mind there.
When you find the RIGHT person, love will be a MUTUAL thing
where you BUILD each other up over TIME and CARE about each other's priorities and both make COMPROMISES.

HE'S got to stop doing that girl cuz the other one will be heated if this is reveled to her...If you where in her shoes what the heck would you do if your man was out there telling his ex/best-friend that he loved her still...Please that is so uncool for him to be tryin' to play you like this just to keep you stringing along on his leash!!!! BREAK AWAY AND MOVE ON!

I would drop him. Why does he say he loves you if he has a new gf? Its like if I punched someone in the stomach and told them I did it to make them feel better.

He says he still loves you, even if he were to get new girlfriend? Wait until he actually DOES get a new girlfriend. That will come to a screeching halt...and the new g/f will NOT approve of a close friendship with his ex, I'm sure.
Ditch him...

He's probably playing you. He has a new girlfriend and is probably keeping you around if it doesn't work out. Do you really want to be sloppy seconds? If your friends don't like him, I bet they are seeing him with unbiased eyes (unlike you) and you should listen to them. Drop him as a friend, it's keeping you from finding a new guy.

JUST DO WHAT YOU FEEL WITHOUT THINKING IN YOUR FRIENDS, YOU ARE THE ONE WHOS GONNA GO OUT WITH HIM NOT YOUR FRIENDS

well, i think...that you should talk to your friends about it. talk to him about it but sneakly (hehe). If hes goign out with a girl and says that he loves you, i think that you should ask why hes goign out with that other girl, if he doesnt love her.
