Fords are good on faulty fuel pumps. I have a 01' Focus that after so many times in the shop couldn't figure out what the problem was and that when I came onto an on or off ramp, the car would decelerate and bog down. The point I'm trying to make is that the last thing I mentioned to them was to check the fuel pump the fuel rail and the fuel injectors and it was the fuel pump. Fuel pumps in a ford are sensitive and I'm willing to bet that that's what the problem is.

Check the basics...needs the right fuel pressure..spark..and compression....sounds like lack of spark from your description.
If no spark, check signal to coil pack, one wire is hot and rest will show an intermittent ground as the pcm tries to fire the coil pack in sequence.

This is a stretch and it has to do with the anti-theft. I have done this on Gm vehicles and I have only heard of it done on Ford.
If the engine cranks and will not start. turn the key on. leave it on until the theft light goes out. this can take up to 30 minutes. when it does. turn off the ignition then try to start the engine. There is something with the OBDII computers and the Anti theft.
Good luck

could be bad gas i.e. water in the fuel line try a fuel additive that will remove water from your system.

Your battery would properly be slightly low or the connectors would properly be oxidized. First try eliminating the cables and cord brushing or scraping the battery posts and the interior the connectors then reconnect them. If that doesn't astounding the priority get your battery checked.

your obviously getting fuel.................probably not getting spark.....recheck your ignition system.......could be your e.c.m.....don,t think it jumped time as someone else suggested....if it did .....you,d probably hear a back fire.
