Would having a small table on my side of the bed & a night stand on his side cause problems?
I've read that there should be 2 equal size night stands in the bed room.
I guess I'm wondering if by my having a bigger table that it is causing me to care more than he does.

You can easily "control" the Chi that enters your abode. Use of COLOR actively enhances and controls the energies that flow through your home (are you focusing on your bedroom?)
Another "enhancer" is to intentionally place Faceted Crystals in key locations.
Use the three elements (water, wind and fire) in agreement with your intentions as you will benefit from the Chi that enters your home.

Hi, For many of my clients I recommend for them to have 2 bedside tables as many don't have any at all, so you have got off to a great start!

Re the relationship being affected by the size of the tables, I would suggest that this is not something to be concerned about.

Generally the tables act as support next to the bed and provide good structure for a restful sleep. It is of course more balanced to have two the same size to provide a visual and support balance. It has also been considered positive to have two the same size as it represents equal respect and support in the relationship, however the 'caring' level as you mention is not considered.

Hope this helps, wishing you good health, abundant wealth and lasting happiness,
Priscilla

There are several things to consider here---Is your table painted, a dark wood, ornate, modern, antique????? Is his a nightstand that matches the bed? Basically, the reason for nearness in size is for energy flow but if your table is open and not too cluttered, you should be just fine. You must also consider the arrangement in the rest of the room---is it fairly large with some open spaces or must you think about flow, are there dark woods in there, is the woodwork painted or stained, ??? Lots to think about!

again this is not real fengshui. you are just getting paranoid of what you have read. don't worry about this. your relationship does not have to do with fengshui. fengshui deals about optimizing money or health in your life. your relatonship is based on you and your partner. not all things can be solved by fengshui!

in fengshui must only be more yin - for sleeping. do not put any water feature like an aquarium, since this can activate the room and make it yang. do not also paint it red, because this also can activate the room, because red is fire. last, avoid putting mirror that directly reflects the bed. these all have something to do with you not having that restful sleep, but not your relationship.

It can cause problem if one is bigger in size than the other.

Feng shui is study of balance and chi. When one side is bigger than the other, the bigger side has dominant effect and create unbalance and arguments, particularly in the bedroom.

Try to have balance and harmony in your bedroom, you will be happier!

If you are planning to start on your woodworking project, this isn't something you should use, it's something that you would be insane not to. Go here https://tr.im/FXgBy
Truth is, I've been a carpenter for almost 36 years, and I haven't found anything like this for less than 10's of thousands of dollars.

Provide some balance by placing a standing lamp on your side. It would like nice and provide a good reading light for your side of the bed.

It also depends on the dimensions of your room and the other furniture.

you can adjust the height and bulk by putting something heavier on his table. like a vase where youhave only a small lamp or something. think of it like a scale. adjust the items on each and feel it out, you'll see what i mean when you do it.
