Something happened in my MS Excel 2003. Before, when I hit "Enter", it would go to the next row. Now, when I hit "Enter" it moves to the next column (just as if I've hit the "Tab" button). How do I get it back to move to the next row?

Under Tools, select the options menu. There is a setting under the "Editing" tab that controls this. Somehow it must have been changed.
You will see a selection for "After Pressing Enter, move selection: [Choose from Drop-down list] "Down, Right, Up, Left"

I am using Excel 2007, so I may have more options. I think you may have only down and right. You will need to select the "down" choice to have it automatically move to the next row when you hit enter.

This covers each and every thing. ^__^ of path I additionally think of there could be an entire class of "WTF ??" fabric, stuff it particularly is in simple terms too strange and random to throw out fullyyt with the abusive stuff. Why could AnswerFail have all the relaxing, you already know?

You might have the scroll lock on your keyboard. You can also GO to TOOLS- OPTIONS - EDIT TAB- and edit "Move selection after enter" to whatever you wish.
