I have heard of Christians and all other sorts of people gossiping and talking about others. Your situation is a bit extreme and if people were treating me that way in a church...I would find another.

Anyone is capable of gossip, and lieing. A Christian should recognize that it is a sin, however, and cease from it.
I would bring this up to the Pastor, and let him know also that her behavior has encouraged others to follow her example.
She has them doing the same thing!
Unfortunately, churches are made up of fallible, but saved, human beings. We can all stumble in many ways, even hurting those around us.
This really must stop. Notify your Pastor.

Forget her! You go to church for God not her! If you like the sermon your pastor preaches then stay. You may want to bring the topic up to your pastor, maybe he'll touch on that if he is a good pastor he should offer sound advice. There is always going to be someone who doesn't like you and will talk about you...do your thing, learn and grow spiritually and don't lose another wink of sleep on account of someone else...fyi girls talk about other girls when they are jealous.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. It's painful to be the butt of everyone's jokes. I have been there before. I learned that no matter what someone says about me, I cannot allow it to interfer with the relationship that I have with my Lord. Some people that go to church simply go to church because their parents want them to. It doesn't mean they are truly Christians. Being in church just means that you are a church member. Until you surrender to Christ, you are not a Christian. Be a friend to these people no matter what! Pray for them, and always be kind to them. This is what Christ taught you to do.

I also would denounce the bombing of an abortion sanatorium, i imagine it will be efficient if all of us became extra knowledgeable on what is going on contained in the womb, we are able to nevertheless likely disagree as a society on even as existence starts off and what all of it skill, yet I easily have stated that each and each part, professional existence and professional selection have a bent to curve data to help their view.I evaluate myself a Christian, yet no longer a mainstream one. i imagine abortion is a foul element, and the idea of destroying innocuous existence for the pride or convenience of the mummy disgusts me, yet I also understand that it will be extra complicated than that, there will be medical themes that make it mandatory, the mummy would were raped or have psychological themes, there would properly be issues occurring in her existence that make it look like the merely way.the point is, i understand adequate about the different part to sympathies with it to some extent even although i'd disagree with it. If all of us understand extra about it, it would mitigate the solid thoughts of a few and decrease those style of occurrences

If you are there to worship God then NO you have done nothing wrong. Your problem is one of the reasons I don't go to church.
Emphasis nowadays seems to be who you are, what kind of clothes you wear, how much gold you wear, etc. Worshiping God is on the back burner in todays church.

thats because people are fallible im afraid, and going to church doesnt really mean that you are a christian. what makes you that is to follow the example that Christ set as best you can, and to try to live with a clean heart, not how many meetings you attend, or what hat you wear. pray quietly, listen to what God tells you is right, and ignore those who's heart is not as open as yours to the true meaning of why jesus died such a terrible death for us. ditch the church,be true to yourself, and find your own path, with God to guide you. Good luck, sweetheart, and Jah bless you.

Some people who call themselves Christians do what you are talking about. Try to be friends with them and maybe they will stop. Otherwise just ignore them and find other people to be friends with. Maybe go to a different church.

I hate to try to explain the sins of other people who claim that they also trust Jesus. All I can say is there will be many who believe themselves to be Christian that will be shocked in the Great Day of God... Don't let those that are faithless destroy your salvation as well.... Jim
