Hi, i am a 24 year old male and i have a very attractive 2nd cousin who i have always been attracted to. The other day we were at a family gathering at my grandparents farm and me and her ended up making out. I know it's wrong and we promised never to do it again but she knows i really like her and she likes me too. i wish we weren't related so badly because after all these years i think i might really be in love with her and i know she feels the same. Is there any way we can be together?

I'm sorry but I don't think it's a good idea. I mean, family is family. And family may get the wrong ideas and get offended and/or be ashamed since they are getting the words across "INCEST". :/

You two need to get over this as it could cause quite a stir in your family. Would it be worth causing a separation of the family? I know that my brother and a 2nd cousin of ours dated in high school and wow did that cause some major problems. They did not have the same last names but mostly everyone knew that they were related and it was a big mess and caused a lot of hard feelings that some never got over. But I know that now both of them wish that they had not done it. Especially after it caused so much hurt and pain between the families. Please think before you jump into something like this.

Jane is an odd name for a guy..
Anyway,yes,it is a strange situation.
I had a friend who did this with her 1st cousin and it ended up being really weird for both of them,and proved to be a bad situation.
Before you do this,try to find someone else because it will most likely never be accepted by anyone in your family and will also be a huge embarassment to all involved as in our society,it is considered a taboo.

yeah that's kinda tuff. my grandparents on my mothers side were like 4 cousins. but that's diffrent. it's kinda strange i mean i wouldn't matter to much if you were like 3 cousins or something. just think of it this way. you have a great relationship with her already. just don't do anything eles. talk to her about all that's going on and be friends. she your family. be her friend and clear things up

Yeah that is weird but I think 2nd cousin's youre allowed to marry, atleast in my state. If i were you i would talk about it to my family.
