That's a good question.
When I was younger, I was a wild child and didn't take much time for the Lord. I was into drugs at a young age, partying and just being a troubled person, although I had good parents. I made terrible choices and really was a bad influence on other kids. I went from that to getting married, having kids (2) and being miserable as a wife and mother.
I eventually went into treatment, father took care of my kids while I did this. I got clean and sober, learned how to be a good parent and found Jesus. Sense doing this, I feel so blessed with my children, my home and my job. I'm working towards my Salvation Army uniform, helping others where I can. My kids are so proud of me, and I'm happier that I have ever been. I'm happy every day and have so many friends. My attitude is always positive. I have learned to let go, and let God help me daily.
Thank you for this question and God bless you.

"Has your religion changed the way you live ?" - Yes it has. I used to rampage through towns pillaging and burning, etc. - and "misbehave" more often than I do now.
I find out it's wrong!! Man was my face red!
How embarrassing. Well those days are memories now.
As a person I am happier not looking over my shoulder anymore. So being religious may be quieter, but it is a good way to live. More of my friends are turning religious - and living longer.

I dont believe in a religion, I believe in God and follow a religion. Until 6 months ago I had never followed a religion just God. The religion itself has not changed me.God changed me when I was a teenager and gave my life to Him. I live my life to and for God. I do His will and not my own and my life is truly blessed on a daily basis.

Both. It has really taught me that God is a person with an intimate interest in each one of us. That has made me really want to be a better person myself and to have more interest in others as well. It has also helped me realize how truly selfish I was before. God has a big picture of the future that includes everyone who truly wants to be there and live in true peace and happiness. Now I can see it and help to support it in my own little way.

Definetly religion has made me the better person. I feel so much better when I am closer to God. I realize that religion is necessary. It allows you to evaluate yourself. It brings out high morals. in you. For me my religion has been the path to happiness. It helped me to recover from the problems I faced like facing a divorce. It has made me more confident, more simple, more humble and more peace loving.

Religion has put restrictions in my life, which make my life more fulfilling. No alchohol, no sex without marriage... it puts you on a good track. My religion tells me that knowledge is essential, so it has pushed me to try harder and to do more for my mind... Also, praying five times a day keeps you in focus. I feel like a strong, centered person, and I credit that to my religion.

All religions are ways of life, so if "it" didn't change the way I live, then "it" wouldn't be a religion.
Most religions have many articles of specific advice and rules for living, from the practical (e.g. give titheings to your church) to the spiritual (pray daily).

Yes. From drugs and drinking, rock-n-roll and parties- I met Jesus Christ in a dream, and there alone in my room I accepted Christ, and I have changed completely and radically.
I gave up my career, laid down my own desires, and decided to become a missionary on the Amazon River. I met my wife on the mission field, and we now have a family. I don't regret it a bit, and would do it again.

Oh, way more than i thought. Every day i have someone to talk to, but not just that. God has shown me how to be a better person and live for Christ. Jesus died for you and loves you, all you gotta do is admit that you are a sinner, and alow him to transform your life.
try this "God, I know that I'm not perfect, and I believe that you died for me on the cross. Please come into my life and change it. Amen"
