Just imagine you are back there for a moment and watching all these baby lambs screaming and yelping and kicking getting their throats slit and the blood pouring out all over the place,

a real blood bath everywhere all over the temple, dried blood, stench, feces,

Does that sound Godly to you?
Is God really pleased by this? yuck.

You are starting to get a very small idea of how God looks at sin. Right from the very first chapters of the Bible, (Gen 4 ) the wrath of God against sin culmanated in death. The wages of sin is death. Until the time of Jesus people knew that this was true. in the act of Sacrifice, the people tried to somehow pay the price that was needed to have their sins taken away. It was a gory business, just as sin is a gory business.

Now go to the death of Jesus. It was a gory business too, made even more so in that the one who died was in fact the one who had created the world in the first place.

The results however were awesome. The death of those lambs you talk about could never take away the guilt of sin, they could only mask it. The death of Jesus, removed the guilt of sin. The proof of that statement is verified in the reserection.

We that believe in the sacrifice of the risen Jesus are no longer under the guilt and power of sin. We are no longer condemned.

Was God pleased with the sacrifice of innocent lambs? No. Was God pleased with the death of Jesus? No. Is God pleased that by the death of Jesus a way is now provided that people can once again have fellowship with Him? You bet!!

I find Your views disgusting and offensive, but they are Your views and Your entitled to be as You are. Pity though.
