i have the same type of hair and was told by a really great hairdresser that i should only use moisturising shampoo and conditioner and ALWAYS use a leave-in conditioner! i use Charles Worthington Results Moisture Seal...its in the orange bottle...and i think its v good. and make sure you have a good style cut into your hair and keep it well maintained.

Here are a few simple suggestions. Wash and condition your hair as normal, towel dry, and then use between 1 and 3 pumps of Paul Mitchell's "Skinny Serum", which is a leave in conditioner. Keep away from hair dryers, hot irons for curling or flattening, especially during the winter. Try washing your hair every other day to let your scalps natural oils build a bit, your dry hair loves this! If that is not an option, try using the hot oil treatments, I prefer the ones that are self activating heat for in the shower. Last but not least, go to a professional stylist and get a trim at least once per month.

Curly hair takes a lot of looking after to keep it in great condition. You firstly need to find a good hairdresser who can cut, and who understands curly hair.
Then, you need to keep your hair washed and well conditioned. You're doing the right thing using conditioner and serum.
If it's only been happening the last couple of weeks, then the weather is probably to blame. If there's been a sudden change in the weather, then curly hair tends to reflect that.
Use an anti-frizz serum for the moment, but use it sparingly.

I would say wash your hair with cold water not hot. Because the heat can damage it more. Wash with a lot of conditioner. Make sure to let it sit in your hair for a good couple of minutes. Keep straightening it before you go to bed. That's all i can tell you. Your problem could be caused by the type of conditioner you use. Before you condition use shampoo, spread the shampoo threw your hair with a wide tooth comb. Wash out. Then apply conditioner. From my experience I suggest that you use TRESemme anti breakage shampoo and conditioner.. Hope this helps.

First thing you should do is go get ur hair trimmed, and make sure u always use a good thick conditioner. and its better if you blow dry your hair straight with a good round brush and then after touch it up with a straightener, this will minimize the damage alot,
good luck!!!

My hair was exactly like that, but i started using Redken all soft shampoo and conditioner. now i dont even need a serum. but i have a really good hair straigther by GHD, and that seals the moisture in your hair so it doesnt dry out.

Try and find a product that contains silicone.
It coats the individual hairs so it'll give it a little more body, give it a shine and help lose the frizz.

i have tried all there is on the market.. it didnt work.. what worked best is a trip to the hairdresser, get a trim, and a chemical straightener will do the job temporarily. good luck with the rebels!
