I've been with my boyfriend for 2 1/2 years,and I love him very much. But during this time,he has had job struggles. When we first started dating he was employed with a company-but the owner wasn't paying bills,etc.-and the business folded. As a matter of fact,my boyfriend is still owed wages and expenses from this company! The next job seemed to be going well when he was suddenly made redundant (there was no prior indication that it might happen) as the company had taken on a huge overhead and 'couldn't afford him'. (A caser of last iin,first out.) He then had a temporary job up until the New Year,and since then has been unemployed. Has any of this affected my love for him? NO. I love him because he's HIM. So,to answer your question-yes,I could easily date a poor man-and be happy. All that would matter is that we were happy in each other's company.

I could easily date a poor man, money aside if someones a d*ckhead then it makes no difference whether he's a rich one or a poor one,it truly is the person inside.

Me -- I don't care if a guy has money or not, if he has a car or not, if he has a house or not or even lives with parent(s)... I can ever date a poor man.
I'm currently with a guy who lives with his father and brother -- I never hold anything like those against someone. If I want money, then there's a job or more.

personally i could not date a poor man i could date a man with an average amount of money. i know i must sound like a gold digger but i am not. the guy should get a job. hope this helps

I've dated poor guys before. I hate it when they expect me to pay for everything because I am the one with the paycheck. I expect both parties to pay for things equally. It's hard to date somebody with no money, because it is hard to go out. If you really like the person, money doesn't matter.

Money does matter to some women. To me, it's not the quantity, but the quality of the man. If he's strong and trustworthy and honorable and sexy and makes my insides quiver, then it doesn't matter what's in the bank account. I couldn't care less, because I can always make money.

What do you mean by poor? I don't take the pay check as something I look for. But if I fall in love, then I fall in love.

depends how 'poor' is poor. if they can barely afford to live and are living on their friends floor and have no job or anything. then no.
but if they are just a normal guy, not TOO well off but living just about comfortably with no huge money worries then of course
