The first humans evolved from Africa therefore must have been black. All creatures have variations and the human race is no different. Sounds as though you are taking Adam and Eve as literal truth. Biblical scholars suggest that the account is more figurative, as in a morality story to show how humans continue to make the same mistakes.

first of all no one knows if adam and eve existed, in fact they probably didnt, secondly if they did, the reason people have white black or brown skin is based on the regioan of the world that they live in. so the hotter the area the darker the skin.
You have to remember though that most things in the old testament were just stories that people came up with to understand because when the stories were made there was no science to have proven facts.

We do not know what color their skin was. We do know that they had within them the capacity to produce the varying shades we see today. Different ethnicities are merely variations on a theme - the human theme. What some people call "race" is merely a group possessing in characteristic proportions certain combinations of physical traits that can be inherited and that are sufficient to set them apart as a distinct type. For different reasons, people began to separate from others and marry only within certain groups so that these trait combinations became concentrated , as it were.

Evolution!
It doesn't really matter what colour they were to start with. As humans moved to different parts of the world their skin adapted to cope with the weather conditions in whichever part of the world they were in. If a white person goes to a hot country their skin starts to produce melanin for protection. Over thousands of years each generation would be born with more protection.
You'll find that people who live in the desert have longer eye lashes to protect their eyes from the sand too

Adam and Eve weren't the first people on Earth. As long as you believe that they were, your basic premises are incorrect. How long was the purple elephant's tail? How many branches does the hedgehog tree have? There is no answer, because it's based on nonsense. If you are interested in anthropology, study anthropology. Leave the Bible out of it, it is not a reliable source of information regarding our origins.

I really don't think it matters. I was watching some show on PBS about cultures, and I am pretty sure its evolution that changes ones skin color. For instance if you live where the suns rays are strong and its very hot (think Africa or South America...etc) then over time the skins pigment will darken (tan) and remain that way. Those who live in climates where the suns rays aren't the strongest don't get as much pigment causing paler complexions.

All the races black, white, red yellow etc were created first . Then 2,000 years later adam and eve were created . They were the last race to be created . They were the first of the Jewish race ,or more commonly called the Jews. And you can take that to the bank. MGB

well, the scientists have found evidence for mitochondrial Eve in Africa, so Adam and Eve were most likely black. The different colors came from migration to different parts of the world, in cold northern climates, people don't need all the melanin for protection from the sun, so got lighter and lighter. People, like animals, adapt to their environments over time, and the process is micro-evolution.

Not that I believe in Adam and Eve, but....
Think about poodles. There was, at one time, a single kind of poodle, right? I mean, we know there aren't packs of wild poodles on the plains of France, right?
Well, now there are standards, Miniature, tea cup, black, white, brown, and orange poodles. And they all came from the same original poodles.
So, my fellow poodle, that's how one could explain it.
