A previous poster is absolutely right - it is WAY too involved to go into the whole book of Revelation. You might try looking for the Navarre Bible and Commentary and read their take on it. The folks on EWTN Catholic radio talk about it a lot and it seems to be a great resource.

Oh, it's much too long to type on here. To try to make the long story short, there is a series of events that are suppose to happen before God comes. He will come and take the believers then the rest will be left here - like hell on earth.

It is the account of what is to happen on this earth in the last days. Jesus' return, which is the rapture, the time of tribulation when all christians have gone ending with judgment and casting satan into the like of fire, ending his reign eternally.

It's an awesome book to read with a blessing for those who keep the words in it. Mainly have the faith and testimony of JESUS and keep the Ten commandments of God.
Pray for the Holy Spirit to help you understand what you are reading. There will be much that you won't initially understand, rest assured it is the word of God and we aren't always given complete understanding regarding his everlasting word. We have finite abilities where he is infinite.

Read the book of Ezekiel. It tell how God came down in a flying saucer. That explains it all perfectly.
