If you want Windows Media Center Edition, you can't get it for free. If you want Windows Media Player, the you can get it from http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/download/AllDownloads.aspx?displang=en&qstechnology=

Download a bit torrent client, like BitComit. Search a torrent site like www.Demonoid.com and search for Windows Media Center. Of course downloading software like that is totally illegal, but you ask for FREE? That's the only way to get something for FREE--illegally!
