How disturbing is it that people actually believe animal sacrifice is a good thing? and even human sacrifice?

It's pretty degrading to God, that he would be pleased by animal sacrifice, It really doesn't say much for 'God's" supposed character, You have the all wise creator of the indifferently majestical universe, and he's into blood sacrifices....??ewe.

Yeah, I'm so sure the Lord of the universe likes baby lambs to be dragged to the alter and their throats slit while they kick and yelp with their blood pouring out all over the place,
sounds Godly to me........

Are you a vegetarian..if you are, do you know that even plants feel pain..

If not, how do you explain why you eat meat..

As for Jesus dying..He died for all of us, to save us from our sins..He gave Himself, as the last living sacrifice..

People were asked to partake of the animal sacrifice, complete with savory smoke, making a joyful noise unto the Lord and enjoying fermented drink. In today's vernacular this would be called a bar-b-cue (but, you share it with others and thank God for the chance to enjoy it...). Abraham lived in a time of child sacrifice to idols. God was making a point. Which, obviously , you missed.

It's pretty disturbing that the god in the Bible is said to have asked Abraham to sacrifice his own son, and Abraham lied to his son, tied him up, put him up on a pile of sticks and was ready to light him up before that god showed up with a "just a test" kind of comment.

It's also disturbing that Jesus said that he was dying for our sins. That is a sacrifice, self-sacrifice, and it was bloody, and violent, and rather sickening, I'm sure. Who is the "lamb of God"? Is that not Jesus?

How appealing is the image of non-believers and sinners being thrown into the lake of fire? Obviously, it is very appealing to some, they certainly like to throw that lovely little belief around.

The god of the bible is just as cruel and bloodthirsty as any other imaginary deity, because WE created him, not the other way around.

No, they don't.If there became a real, shown case, why credible media (i'm talking about such variety, the position Satanic sacrifice is positioned between alien probes and massive Foot sighting) in no way stated? regardless of the truth that if there have been remoted circumstances once in 50 years accomplished by technique of one million loopy human being, it would not coach something.
