My son is 8 weeks old and I think he might have pyloric stenosis. I had to pick him up from the babysitter yesterday because she said he was projectile vomiting. He didnt do it again all day, but today he did it again. Completely covered himself and me, and he appeared hungry again right after him vomited. I dont know what to do. He doesnt have a fever, so what else could cause him to vomit like this? He chokes on it, and it scares me. PLEASE GIVE ADVICE!

My son just to have the surgery last week for pyloric stenosis he was 5weeks at the time. First thing i noticed other then the spit up was no dirty diapers. we went two days and the doc told me to just feed him pear juice then another three days and we had to go to the children's hospital's ER and get the surgery. If my son's electrolytes were at 4 and if they had been any lower he would have died so look close! Now he was spiting up after every meal and he would spit up from 10 min after eating to 4 hours after eating. Now your kid could also just have reflux but look carefully.. if IT alot of spit-up after every meal then go to the Dr

The only way I found to help my kids to actually keep their formula down was to feed them very slowly, while having them sit on my knee. Id feed them a small portion of their bottle..then burp them, and keep doing that until the bottle is empty. Instead of feeding them say half the bottle then getting a burp. If by chance the vomiting continues to be forceful, then make sure you have him checked out by the pediatrician. If he indeed does have pyloric stenosis, an operation may need to be performed.

Hope this helps.

My daughter had rotavirus when she was 9 months old. She also had no fever with it. Started out with the vomiting and then moved to severe diarrhea. You should take your son to the ER if only to help rehydrate him. He needs IV fluids and medical care

Your son is very young, and you should really call your pediatrician, speak to the nurse and see if they want you to come in. It's not clear from your question if he has kept anything down, if he's still making wet diapers, etc... so please, call your child's doctor and seek their advice.
