Zebra finches?

Question

We have had 2 male zebra finches together for approx. 10 years, one of them recently died, and we are considering getting a female. I was wondering if this is wise, Would they get along? I was also wondering if there are any good detailed web sites about zebra finches.

just be extra careful since ur 10 yr old finch has already established that is his home.my only concern would be that they might fight...like some other birds are known to do.wut i would suggest to u is buy a lil cage for the new finch and put it beside ur older finch and let them interact thru the wires for a while b4 putting them together.
