I understand its selling for £7 per jar on e/bay.

I might try some, but not from ebay.

Some 300,000 jars will be sold in supermarkets – including Tesco and Sainsbury's - for six weeks, for £2.49. (See link)

its a great looking jar being black with a white lid (like a pint of guiness)

I saw it in tesco's it's more expensive than regular marmite and I think available in the one size - but it certainly isn't £7.

I find that items on ebay are not cheap - but they make things seem exclusive by raising the price. If you didn't know guiness-marmite was available in supermarkets you'd buy it from ebay at £7 thinking it was fabulous!!!

I havent tried it yet but after reading all the answers it seems as though it will be hard to get hold of! Probably be another fad like the green tomato ketchup!

I can't find it anywhere in the shops. I'm intreged. I can't get enough of normal marmite. Yum.

Sounds revolting....yet, the more you think about it, it sounds like a plausable combination.

£7 on ebay. It was in tescos for three quid.
