If you're talking about the bible, there are no references to homosexuality in the original Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic texts. Religion has just made up the intolerance themselves. What's hilarious is that the King James Version of the bible is the most widely accepted version, and King James was homosexual.

hello there, i am a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of latter day saints. and we believe that we should love everyone and not judge them (thats God's Job) but we also believe that marriage and family's were meant to be a man and a woman. If two guys or two girls were supposed to be together, then why can only a man and a woman make a child??? there's something to think about! i know a lot of gay men and they are great people.. they just got off on the wrong path in my opinion. Oh and no.. people are not born gay they choose to be that way!... well hope you find the answer that you are looking for! have a good one!

Homosexuals have a right to believe in whatever religion they want. Even if some religions are against and unaccepting of their lifestyles.
(in my opinion)

Jesus fulfilled the old law.
where in the new testiment does the bible say anything about homosexuality...
Romans and corenthians are up for debate the refrences are simply too vague. they could mean many things.
show me in the new testiment where it says "it is wrong for 2 people of the same sex to love each other."
and then prove that it is the word of god, and not just the scribblings of some homophobic man that thought to use religion to wage war against that which he feared.
**********************************************************
for the fools that believe that people choose to be gay.
why would somebody choose a lifestyle that will get them nothing but discrimination and pain. it simply is not a choice. homosexuality exists in nature.
please educate yourselves before you make complete fools out of yourselves.

religion is a persons choice. they choose to follow a religion and to believe it. it is up to them... however, people who are homosexual don't really pick, i guess they just don't feel comfortable being with the opposite sex, and prefer their own.

Yes the bible may say Homosexuality is wrong so according to that GAYS are wrong. In addition, I beleive somewhere the bible states that overconsumption is wrong. Gluttony is one of the 7 deadly sins. Does this suggest that being overweight and obese is wrong. Are FAT people wrong???

I think if people are going to condemn homosexuality because of what the Bible says, they must follow all of the Bible's rules as well. No eating shellfish for one. Also, you cannot touch a woman while she is menstruating; actually, according to the Bible, they are supposed to live in tents during their periods. Christians are taught "thou shalt not kill," but the Bible says disrespecting one's parents is grounds for execution.

the continuation of religion relies on procreation, hence homosexuality is looked down upon. It doesn't further the church so it is bad to the church.

"religion" is much too broad of a term. I usually consider it a dirty word...because it takes in way too much...
as for homosexuality - what are you wondering about it, in particular? (be more specific)

Hate the sinner, not the sin. It's not the religious person's fault that he believes that homosexuality is a sin! Religion isn't a choice, after all. He was born a homophobe.
... er, wait.. I got it backwards. ~.~ Oh, well. I forgive you anyways, religious peeps. Christian pride!!!
